Evaluation

Task:3 Evaluation

Your final Task is to evaluate the work you have just exhibited. You will need to
discuss the following points about your work, the exhibition and the campaign. Use
the following paragraph headings to help you.

1. What are you thoughts on the finished product:?
I think it went half and half, because some ended up well and then some ended up not as well.
The ones that ended up not so well where a bit out of focus, and some have the models and people in the background.

2. Does it look how you originally planned?

Yes I change a lot from my first plans for most of my photos where meant to be up here in the media floor but ended up taken them on the stair way near the media floor and in the common room, before I planned to use the recording room and the mac room, The reason I changed the rooms is because i want to be defferant and use a differeant place like the stair way window.

3. What do you think about the qualities of your work? In Focus, Good bad light

well like i said in the first question it really half and half, some ended up in good qualty and some ended up in well not bad qualty they where abit out of focus and had people in the background and you could see the blue tac I used to keep the model in place and they where a bit crooked.

4. Give your ideas about comments from others, eg audience, peers, tutors, client

The people who comment on my photos gave me postive feed back like:

"very good picture i like the one where he is cleaning the window because the widow looks like it has actually started to be washed i like this picture"

"The pictures are really good they arn't blurred or out of focus and they clearly show the little people as the main focus"

"i think the sencond to bottom one is not bad , it looks like the model is sitting on the blue chair only bad thing is there is someone in the background"

My 'Little People Project' started in 2006. It involves the remodelling and painting of miniature model train set characters, which I then place and leave on the street. It is both a street art installation project and a photography project. The street-based side of my work plays with the notion of surprise and I aim to encourage city-dwellers to be more aware of their surroundings. The scenes I set up, more evident through the photography, and the titles I give these scenes aim to reflect the loneliness and melancholy of living in a big city, almost being lost and overwhelmed. But underneath this, there is always some humour. I want people to be able to empathise with the tiny people in my works.
